Not Forgotten Association Events

The office has received invitations for members in receipt of a War Pension to attend further events. One is a visit to the Gardens at Exbury with lunch and the other is the Royal Garden Party

On Monday 9th May 4 of our members (In receipt of War Pension) are invited to visit the Gardens at Exbury, Hampshire and join them for lunch. Should a member wish to be escorted then this can be arranged.

On 15th July, 30 of our members are invited to attend the Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace. If the member cannot attend without an escort then this is acceptable.

Members must make their own travel arrangements to and from the events, but parking facilities are available.

The Trustees of the Not Forgotten Association have indicated that persons who attended the 2010 Garden Party should not apply for this year’s event.

Part Time Job Vacancies for Disabled Ex-Service Personnel

The office has been sent details of 3 part time jobs in the Wiltshire area

1. Medic/First Aider and Time Keeper for Polo Club near Salisbury. Working on Saturdays and Sundays with the odd Thursday evening for approx 42 weeks of the year.

2. Bookkeeper Part Time: £7500 pa. Approximately 12 -15 hrs a week. Working for The British Forces Foundation in Pewsey. Must be proficient in Sageline 50, Excel and PAYE.

3. Event Co-ordinator/Project Manager. Part time £7500 + expenses and bonus. Approx 20 hrs a week. Based in Pewsey with time spent in Devizes. Person capable of working on their own with self motivation to work on the second Devizes International and Comedy Festival. Own transport useful but not essential.

Army v Navy Rugby Match 6th – 8th May 2011

The Not Forgotten Association have kindly invited 2 of our Members (in receipt of War Pension) to attend the above match with 2 nights accommodation.

The Not Forgotten Association have kindly invited 2 of our members to attend the above event.

The invite is for SAM holders in receipt of a War Pension and does not include guests. Accommodation is sharing twin en-suite rooms.

There are facilities for wheelchairs on request in the rooms but in order to watch the match, the guest must be able to transfer to a premium match seat located directly outside the box. The event includes a 2 night stay at the Marriott Hotel, Twickenham.

Transport to and from the guest’s home to Twickenham is not included.
