Chip Wood Prints

SAMA Member and Cartoonist, Chip Wood has done a limited edition cartoon print.  To see a photograph of the print, go to the SAMA online shop.

Each print has been signed and numbered and there are only £300.

To obtain a copy of this print (£22 inc p &p) you can either order via the online shop or by sending a cheque to the office.

Adaptive Shooting Championships

The Inaugural NRA Military Adaptive Shooting Championships will be holding an Adaptive Shooting Competition on July 4th.

The National Rifle Association in conjunction with the Army Target Rifle Association and sponsored/supported by Sport England are proud to present the Inaugural Adaptive Shooting Championships.  This is open to any disabled veteran from any of the Services.

It is to be held at the National Shooting Centre in Bisley, Surrey on 4th July and to coincide with the final of the Army Championships.  Entry is £20.

The NRA Military Adaptive Championships comprises of two matches:

1.  The Military Adaptive Match – a 3 Stage precision, snap and rapid fire match fired from a bench position at 100 yds using AR15 5.56mm rifles with optical scopes

2.  The Military Adaptive McQueen – a sniper style match of 10 x 3 second exposures at irregular intervals.  Targets are shown at varied positions from a ‘building’ using one of the most versatile Sniper Rifle systems in the world in 7.62mm calibre.

To fulfil the entry requirements the competitor should be in receipt of a disability pension or benefit.  If you are visually impaired then contact he organisers to discuss your requirements.  You will be asked to state your disability in confidence so that they can best assess your specific requirements to assist you on the day.

All firearms and ammunition will be supplied.  Depending on your disability assistance in competing will be available.

The event commences at 0900 and the prize giving ceremony at 1530.

Falklands 30 Ale

You are reminded that Falklands 30 Ale is on sale at the Dorset Piddle Brewery website or on their Facebook page – Dorset Piddle brewery.  It costs £26 a cost of 12 x 500 ml bottles.  Money from the sale of every bottle is donated to SAMA 82.

The beer will also be available via the SAMA stand at events around the country.
