Fundraising Evening, Tenbury Wells, 15th September 2011

There will be a fundraising evening on the 15th September 2011 at the Royal Oak in Tenbury Wells to raise money for the SAMA 82 Alrewas Memorial.  In the function room 7.00 pm for 7.30 pm.

SAMA Member Nicci Pugh will be giving an illustrated Power-Point Presentation on the role of The Hospital Ship Uganda during the Falklands Conflict and Nicci’s accompanying book ‘White Ship – Red Crosses’.

There will also be a raffle and all proceeds will go towards the Memorial Fund.

Memorial Fundraising – Walk up Pen y Fan 13th August 2011

With less than 3 weeks to go for this event it is now time to register with the SAMA Office. If you are doing the walk then we need numbers (to give to the National Trust/Mountain Rescue), but also, if you are coming to support us please tell us for catering purposes

On 28th May 2011, Fred Clark (Falkland Islands) will be signing copies of his novel DRY ICE at the above hotel between 11am and 3pm.

Fred Clark who is one of our Falkland Island members, has written the novel DRY ICE which is based on the invasion of the Falkland Islands in 82. You are invited to go along and have a chat with him on the day.
